Got a special on? Something new in? A quiet day you'd like to fill? Spesh puts what you're promoting in front of nearby shoppers — locals who were never going to walk past your door.
6 months free · No commissions · No lock-in contract
We're signing up 96 founding businesses on the Gold Coast
A board out front, a sign in the window, a post your followers might scroll past. They reach the people who are already looking for you. Plenty of locals nearby never find out at all.
You don’t have to discount everything, and you don’t have to post every day. When you’ve got something worth promoting, Spesh gives you somewhere else to put it — two minutes to join, thirty seconds to post.
A special, something new in, a price you’d like more people to see. You already write it on a board out front — Spesh puts the same thing on locals’ phones, at no cost. Change it anytime; people always see what’s current.
Get a QR code for your counter. Customers scan it when they pay and see what else you’ve got on — and they’re reminded to come back. Your regulars are your first audience from day one.
Shoppers open Spesh to see what’s on around them, and everything you post lands on a page for your suburb that Google can find. That’s people who were never going to walk past your window — without paying for the click.
See exactly how many locals viewed each thing you posted and scanned your counter QR — so you can judge it for yourself, well before your free months are up.
Fair question, and here’s the straight answer: we’re building Spesh with local businesses first. Nobody opens a specials site with nothing on it, so the businesses go on before the shoppers do.
I’m Ian — I’m building Spesh here on the Gold Coast, and I’m signing up the first 96 businesses one at a time, myself. Being early is the offer rather than the catch: you get six months free, and what you tell me shapes what gets built next.

Shoppers keep a list in Spesh of what they want to catch on special. Post one that matches and their phone buzzes — no ad spend, no waiting for them to scroll past you.
Shoppers keep a list in Spesh of things they want to catch on special. Put one of them on, and the people nearby who’ve been waiting get told — the product by name, with your shop on it.
Only shoppers whose list matches hear about it, and only within 15km of your door. That’s why locals leave Spesh notifications switched on — and why yours gets read instead of swiped away.
There’s no campaign to build and no send button to find. You post the special; the notifications go out on their own. The most active shoppers near you also get a nudge that something new has landed.
Included from the Business plan up — the plan your free 6 months run on, so it's switched on from day one.
Become a Founding PartnerSome offers you only want honoured in person — a lunch price, a "while you're here" deal. Tick scan to activate and it only turns on for someone who scans a card on your counter. It can't be used from home, and it can't be passed around online.
Four table cards on an A4 sheet, or a poster for behind the bar. Each one carries a code only your venue has. If it ever gets out, retire it and reprint — the old cards stop working the moment you do.
Someone walking in with Spesh open gets a reminder that you've got something on and a prompt to scan. They're already through the door — this is the last five metres.
A customer who orders again gets a fresh code without leaving their seat, so a second order doesn't look like the same one twice. Prefer once per customer? Set a limit.
They show you a square on their phone. Scan it with any camera — your till tablet or your own phone, no app to install — and you see what it's for, whether it's still good, and a button to mark it redeemed so it can't be used twice. No camera free? They read you four characters instead.
Licensed venue? Drink specials print on counter cards only and come with a per-visit limit, so your promotion stays on the right side of the Liquor Act. We set that up for you — you can change the number.
Included on every plan, free months included.
Become a Founding PartnerTwo different questions: how the things you posted performed, and what people around you are hunting for. Both are answered from your dashboard.
Views on everything you post, day by day, across 7, 30 or 90 days or any range you pick. Which special pulled hardest, which day peaked, and — if you run more than one shop — which location did it. From the Business plan up.
List Insights shows the most-wanted products around you right now, taken from what shoppers are actually adding to their lists — broken down by suburb, postcode and category. Stock to it, or price your next special against it. On the Pro plan.
Your reports run through the free months too — so you can judge it for yourself well before there's a bill.

Add what you want promoted
A special, something new in, a slot you’d like filled. Name it, snap a photo, set the price, done. We even tag the category for you.
Let locals find it
Nothing to design. Your posters, counter cards and decals come ready to print — including activation cards for the offers you only want used in store.
Run up to 3 locations on the Business plan and 10 on Pro. Each one gets its own specials, its own QR codes and its own numbers — and when you've got the same deal on everywhere, you post it once and send it to the rest. Someone living between two of your shops still only hears about it once.
Work the markets? Each market is a location. Set up the three or four you trade at and your specials show under whichever suburb you're in that day.
Every morning Spesh posts local offers to Facebook, suburb by suburb, with whatever's live that day. Put something up and it's in the rotation — you don't do anything else. Here's what's gone out recently.
Become a Founding PartnerI’m looking for 96 Founding Partners across the Gold Coast, and I’m signing them up one at a time so I can build this around what local businesses actually need — not what I assume they need.
You get six months to use Spesh properly and decide for yourself whether it’s worth anything to your business. I get to hear from someone running a real shop about what’s missing. Tell me what would make it more useful and it goes on the list — that’s the trade.
After your 6 free months it’s $20/month, and you can leave whenever you like.
If you'd rather not do it yourself, email me one thing you'd like promoted — what it is and the price is enough — and I'll build it, tag it, and send you your counter QR ready to print. No account needed to ask, and you can take it from there or leave it with me.
Questions before you sign up? Email support@speshoffers.com.au — I read every one.
Plenty of businesses on Spesh don’t, or not often. Use it whenever you’ve got something worth telling locals about — something new in, stock you’d like to move, appointments free this week, a quiet day worth filling. Every listing is a product or service with a price on it so locals know what they’re getting, but that price doesn’t have to be a discount.
Yes — six months free as one of the 96 Founding Partners, no card needed, and no commission on anything you sell. After that there’s a low monthly fee only if it’s working for you, and you can cancel anytime. See pricing
Setup takes two minutes and you change deals in seconds from your phone. There’s nothing to learn.
Nothing. You post from the Spesh website on your phone or your computer, and we give you a QR code to print or share. Locals browse Spesh in their web browser too — there’s nothing for them to install either.
Yes, and it’s the part most owners don’t expect. Shoppers keep a list in Spesh of what they’re after; when you post something that matches, everyone nearby with it on their list gets a notification naming your shop. You don’t send it — posting the special is the whole job. Drink specials are the exception: the Liquor Act keeps those inside the venue.
Up to 5 at a time on the Business plan and 25 on Pro, and you can swap them out as often as you like — there’s no limit on changes. If you only ever have one thing on, there’s a free Starter plan that stays free. See pricing
Up to 3 locations on Business and 10 on Pro. Each one gets its own QR codes and its own numbers, and you can push a special out to all of them at once. Market stalls count as locations — one for each market you work, so your specials show under whichever suburb you’re trading in that day.
Your dashboard shows views on everything you post, day by day, your best performer, your peak day, and which location it came from if you run more than one. That’s there through the free months, so you can judge it before there’s ever a bill.
Keep doing that — Spesh works alongside it. Most of your followers miss your posts, and the people who aren’t following you never see them at all. Spesh puts the same thing where locals go looking, and the counter QR catches the people already standing in your shop.
Only if you let them. Tick “scan to activate” and the special won’t turn on for anyone who hasn’t scanned the card on your counter — a screenshot sent to a friend across town is worth nothing.
There's nothing to teach. If a special needs checking, the customer holds up a square on their phone and whoever's on the till scans it with any camera — the shop tablet or their own phone, nothing to install. The screen says what it's for, whether it's still good, and has one button to mark it used. Codes read out loud work too, if both hands are full.
Yes, while they’re in your shop — they get a fresh code for each order, so a second round doesn’t look like the same one twice. You can cap it at once per visit, or any number you like. Drink specials always have a limit.
Plans start at $20/month, cancel anytime. No lock-in contract, and no commission on anything you sell. See pricing
